Arreaga Substation Restoration - Phase 1 | Data Infrastructure and Backup
Comprehensive electromechanical and civil retrofitting, raising the plant’s safety and operational standards to a regional benchmark.
Comprehensive electromechanical and civil renovation.
We face the challenge of vulnerability to power outages that jeopardize business continuity.
This project included activities related to basic and detailed engineering design in the field, inspection and maintenance of electrical substation equipment, testing of control systems and substation protection equipment, as well as the execution of electromechanical and civil works.
The successful completion of this initiative in 2022 significantly improved the functionality and reliability of the Arreaga Substation in Latin America.
The scope of this project included:
Installation of double-conversion uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems and high-density battery banks.
Deployment of backup generators with automatic transfer switches (ATS).
Installation of fiber-optic cabling for high-speed data transmission.
Energy management systems (EMS) for real-time monitoring of efficiency and consumption.
Our solution: Implementation of a robust connectivity and backup architecture to ensure full operational capability.
Technical Scope
