400-kV Submarine Cable System — Lake Maracaibo
Engineering and deployment of 70 km of submarine and underground cable. An infrastructure milestone that ensures a stable power supply for more than 2 million people.
A comprehensive solution, implemented with engineering precision.
Electrical interconnection in marine environments poses critical risks of power loss and environmental vulnerability, where any error in procurement or installation can jeopardize the energy stability of entire regions.
The scope of this project includes the engineering, procurement, fabrication, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a 400-kV submarine and underground cable system designed to cross beneath Lake Maracaibo and connect to sections of overland power lines on the eastern and western coasts.
We implemented a comprehensive Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) strategy for the deployment of 70 km of high-power cable. Thanks to our precision engineering and procurement management that meets international standards, we guarantee a resilient infrastructure that ensures the continuity of power supply under the most demanding marine conditions.
